Black & White Only! Seriously?

Yup, that's right, the Wild Flower Wednesday Challenge this week is to make black and white card. I really didn't think that I was going to make this one. It just wasn't coming together in my mind.

Then I started playing....

I used an image from The Wild Flower Patch - it was a freebie a while ago. I made it completely black (though I REALLY wanted to go brown).

The papers are digital papers that a friend of mine had directed me toward.

The sketch is from this week's Paper Sundaes' Challenge.

Sentimental Sunday's challenge is to use inspirational words. I searched and searched and came up with this quote that I think works!

Okay, I like the card, I really do, but I SO BADLY want to put a bright red apple in that tree!

  1. Perfect sentiment for this card! I would have struggled too with the black and white! You can always add a red apple now that it is posted - LOL! Thank you for joining us at Paper Sundaes - we hope to see you again next week!

  2. Lovely card ~ and I love your idea of putting a red apple on it!! LOL

  5. OMG, this is stunning. I don't think you need to add a thing - it is perfect as it is. The sentiment is perfect too (I might just make a note of that one).

  6. Stunning! I agree with you about wanting to put an apple on the tree.
