Let's see how many challenges I can cover in one card!

Alright, I could probably have found more challenges for this cute little card but I wasn't about to go searching!!! I did have 6 challenges that I wanted to do anyway, so, I figured that I might as well just make it all in one card....and the challenges are:

1.) Cute Card Thursday #105 Dimensions...I made the lollipop stick out as well as the entire bunny sticking out from the card. The bow pops out as well!

2.) Pollycraft Monday Challenge #37 - A Recipe 4321: 4 papers, 2 ribbons/lace, 3 embellishments, and 1 image.

3.) Cupcake Crafts Challenges - Challenge 84 Spring or Easter and lots of Chocolate.

4.) Digital Tuesday - Scrap It! (use scrap paper) - Every bit of paper on here is scrap!!!

5.) Spoonful of Sugar - Challenge 97 Shapes Galore! - I used this adorable onsie template from Cathy Edgar, she did a wonderful job creating it!!

6.) Papertake Weekly - open theme - anything goes!

Cupcake Craft Challenge #83 - Food And Drink

Hello all!

I made this card for the Cupcake Craft Challenge. Challenge #83 is called "Food and Drink". When I read that, I immediately thought of my Phindy's images (the cute little cook and the soup recipe border). Played around with them a little bit and here is what I came up with....incase you can't find the border image, I turned it into DP!! I thought that was pretty nifty of me!

Another Easter Card - with a new digi!!

Good afternoon everyone!

I got a new digi this morning, he is called "challenge bunny digi" and he's from "2 cute rubberstamps"! I got him for free following links from Pile it On! I was so excited about a new free digi that I just had to use it for this card......

Isn't he a cutie?
Well, this card qualifies for four different challenges.
1.) The layout is from Sketch Saturday - Sketch #96.
2.) Corrosive has a challenge #57 - Easter.
3.) Pile It On!'s challenge this week is "Animal-riffic" (and 2 Cute Rubber Stamps is their sponsor)
4.) 2 Cute Rubber Stamps Challenge - Use the new digi!

Four Challenges, One Card!

This card covers four challenges.....they are:

1.) The Corrosive Challenge - #56 Paper Piecing

2.) Digital Tuesday - #51 - Happy Spring

3.) Wild Flower Wednesday 7 - Ribbons and Handmade Flowers

4.) Friday Sketchers - Sketch #95

I really like how the paper piercing came out....

I hope you like it!

The first challenge is a sketch challenge, Papertake Weekly - Sketch #37.

TFG - FFF - Mary's Sketch

I did this card for The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Friday Sketch....I am also using this card for my brother's (ex) girlfriend. She is an amazing softball pitcher and is winning all types of awards and breaking all of the college's records. I am so happy for her! Sooooo, this card has a bit of a Cortland State Softball theme, it just seemed to work with the sketch! Hope you like it.

Wild Flower Wednesday 6: Spring Cleaning

This card is for the Wild Flower Wednesday 6: Spring Cleaning Challenge at The Wild Flower Patch. I used an adorable freebie digi from their Paper Craft Planet group!!

The challenge was to dig out the "old" stuff in your craft spaces and use it to make a card. I went through my scrap bucket (it is WAY too full!!) and found all of the papers used on this card! I then went to the misc. box that is next to my chair. It is full of things that I have no apparent use for but just can't throw away.....well, I found spanish moss. What the heck am I going to do with spanish moss? Well, I made an inside out Easter Basket for my card. I think it turned out pretty cute!! I hope you like it!

Two Cards, Five Challenges!

Well, tonight started out with me finding out about the new challenge at Phindy's Group on Paper Craft Planet. I got all excited when I heard about it....Anne came up with the "Mulit-Tasking Challenge" where you have to take one image and make at least 2 cards, both different with different themes! I went through my Phindy images and came up with "Cheep Cheep" which was a free image not too long ago. I instantly came up with 2 different ways to use it....

For the first card, I made a new baby card. I combine this with a few other challenges.

2.) Papertake Weekly - Lilac and Lemon

3.) Pile it On - Challenge #11 - Furry Friends

4.) Sunday Sketch and Stamp - Sketch #24 - Barb's Sketch

The second card is an Easter card. I combine two challenges for this one...

1.) Phindy's

2.) Sketch Girl - Sketch #14

Sketch Saturday Sketch #95

I got this image free from Mo's Group on Paper Craft Planet and just had to use it!! Doesn't he just look terribly sad that he missed the birthday?

The sketch that I used for this card is from Sketch Saturday. It is sketch #95.

Here is my card...

A few different challenges in one!

Well, this card started out to be for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge #104: Happy Anniversary! As soon as I read about the challenge, I immediately pictured the "Young Love" image from Mo's Digital Pencil. That image screams anniversary to me (and I just love it!!).

So, since I was using a Mo's image, I decided to check out Mo's DP2 blog and see what their challenge was. Hmmm...all I had to do was use 3 punches. I can do that! Now we're up to two challenges, not bad!

Well, I had the image, knew the theme and that I needed three punches but what type of layout? Soooo, I went searching for something neat and came across Friday Sketchers' Sketch #94. I liked it but it didn't quite work for me. While I was playing around with papers, I turned the sketch on it's side and viola! I found my layout!!

Now, here's my card. I hope you like it......

Bells 'n Whistles - Where Do They Live Challenge

Summer, over at the Belles 'n Whistles blog wants to know where our Stamps live. I thought I'd fill her in on my stamps....

Stamps (for that matter people and dogs too) live amongst the toys at my house! With a VERY active 3 year old, toys are EVERYPLACE and everything else just needs to find a place among them all!

So, without further ado, here are my stamps living with their Little People Friends in their Little People House!

TGF - Farm Fresh Friday - Happy Birthday and Friday Sketchers Sketch #93

I made this card for two different challenges. The first was The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Friday Challenge - Happy Birthday. The second was a sketch from Friday Sketchers #93....

I am very excited that I used quilling on my card for the first time!!! I think it turned out pretty neat...what do you think?

Pile it On and a bunch of others!!

This week, Phindy is sponsoring the Pile It On Challenge! I had never heard of this challenge blog before so I checked it out. They are all about combining challenges, which I love to do! So, I decided to enter, here are a list of the challenges that I have combined with this card (with a Phindy image of course!! "Happy Easter Girl")

1.) Pile It On - Challenge #10 - Pastels

2.) Sunday Sketch & Stamp - Challenge #23 Arianne's Sketch

3.) Dare U 2 Digi Stamp - Challenge # 33 no patterned paper

4.) Cute Card Thursday - Challenge 103 - Celebrations

5.) Pollycraft Monday Challenge - Challenge #36 - Sparkly Things

Phoolish Phor Phindy Challenge

Wow! This was a fun challenge designed by Ann English....I just loved it! The challenge was to take at least two of Phindy's images and merge them. I chose two of Phindy's Easter images, Happy Easter Boy and Happy Easter Girl. They turned into "friends", as my 3 year old put it, and they are holding hands while skipping down the sidewalk.

Check out this challenge on Phindy's Paper Craft Planet Group, you can win two free digi images as a prize! The challenge ends on March 21st.

A few more cards!

Well, I've been one busy bee lately....

I have two cards to post for a bunch of challenges, so exciting!
First up I have a card for the Motivet Week 9 Challenge. Once again I used the free kitty digi, it's so cute! I hope you like the card...

My second card is for 3 combined challenges...The sketch is from Papertake Weekly Sketch #36. It was a pretty simple sketch but when I combined it with the other sketches it became a little bit trickier!! I used an image from The Wild Flower Patch and I followed their color challenge (black, red, & white). Finally, I tackled my newest challenge, Digital Tuesday's challenge was paper piercing. It took me two attempts but I am quite pleased how it came out on the black paper!!!

I hope you like this card too...

Mo's Digital Challenge #21 - color combo & The Corrosive Challenge #54

Once again I have combine challenges! I started with Mo's Challenge #21, a color challenge to use blue, brown, and white/cream. I picked an image that I've had but have not used, "lookin for clues". Then I was stuck because I did not have a layout in mind.

I thought of the Corrosive Challenge Sketch that I had just checked out and decided to use that sketch (tipped on it's side) with the color challenge and viola!

My card turned out like this:

Monday, March 8, 2010

The Wild Flower Patch - WFWC4 & Digital Tuesday Challenge 48 - Scallops

This sketch is from The Wild Flower Patch as is the image, it was a freebie! It was a lot of fun!! I decided to keep it very simple and use only one DP and not even color the image - no I didn't forget it was intentional!!

I also incorporated Digital Tuesday's Challenge - Scallops! It was already in the sketch so that was super simple!

Here's my card, I hope you like it!!

Papertake Weekly: buttons, brads, bows, & bling, Sketch Saturday - Week 93, and TGF - Alice Inspired Card

Another 3 Challenges in one card! Wow! Not bad!!!

Okay, I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday's Week 93 Challenge. I loved the little "dots" surrounding the image. It was a little tricky to space them out evenly but it ended up looking pretty good I think.

For Papertake Weekly, I used the brads (around the image) and some glitter to "bling" up this Creepy Cake's outfit!!

For The Greeting Farm, I used one of my Creepy Cakes images and the sentiment "I'm Late! I'm Late! For a very important Birthday!" so I can use it as a belated birthday card....seems I'm always running behind or forgetting completely!

So, here's the card, I hope you enjoy it!

Cute Card Thursday: Challenge 102

Cute Card Thursday's Challenge this week is called Lucky Green!

A friend of mine works with a woman whose 14 year son just had brain surgery. The very shortened version of the story is that he remains in the hospital and needs a little pick me up! She has asked the crafting community if we could send him a card just to brighten up his days a bit. Here is my card for Nick, the Lucky Green theme seemed to work well for this! Oh, and if you would like to send Nick a card, you can send one to the school his parents work at:

Sketch Saturday: Sketch #92

Yesterday I found out that I won the Creepy Cakes Digis from The Greeting Farm!! Sooooo exciting!!! So, I decided to use one of the images, Freaky Flutter, in this week's Sketch Saturday Challenge.

I loved this sketch but then had a little difficulty because my 4 1/4 x 51/2 inch card made for a tight squeeze, I think I made it work though, what do you think?
