Friday Sketchers Challenge #91

Well, this card was only for one challenge, can you believe it?
I just loved this sketch from Friday Sketchers so I used it with my other free digi from Wild Flower Kids. I used some "wild" and colorful papers to go with her and here is what I came up with!

Mo's Digital Challenge #20

Hello! I finally got to use my new digi that I won from Mo's blog hop!! I'm so excited!! "You're Kinda Cute" is more than kinda cute if you ask me!!

Here is my card based on Mo's Digital Challenge's Challenge #20's sketch, hope you like it....

Motivet Week 8 Challenge

This week Motivet had a great sketch challenge and I just couldn't resist using my free Motivet digi again! I really need to scrape together some extra cash so I can buy some more!!

Any-who, I used their sketch to make this cute little card. The paper on the left was just plain cardstock and I added some embossed flourishes and a butterfly from the designer paper (notice I used the same papers as the last post)!

Here's my card, hope you enjoy it!

Sunday Sketch and Stamp - Challenge #22, Cute Card Thursday - Ribbon-Tastic, & Wild Flower Wednesday Challenge - Aqua, Chocolate, and Cream

WOW! I did another 3 in 1 card!! For this one I used a new free digi that I got from The Wild Flower Kids group on Paper Craft Planet, she's adorable isn't she? I used the colors from the Wild Flower Wednesday challenge blog - Aqua, Chocolate, and Cream.

The sketch was from Sunday Sketch and Stamp. Sem did a great job with this one!

Cute Card Thursday had a challenge using ribbons (Ribbon-Tastic). For this card I used a paper lace ribbon and an aqua ribbon with a thin brown stripe that my mother had given me, it was as if it were made for this card!

So, without further ado, here is my card...

Roses on Paper Challenge 32- A Card for Men/Boys & Papertake Weekly Sketch 35

I decided to combine Roses on Paper's Challenge with Papertake Weekly's Sketch and came up with this card.

I thought that this sketch would work well for a more masculine card because it did not have too many scallops/bows/flowers/etc.! Then I came across the problem that the card was a bit plain. I ended up playing with it and adding to it and here is what I came up with....
...oh and I used TGF's Rock the Farm Ian and some "manly" papers.

Hope you like the card!

Friday Sketchers Challenge #90, Digital Tuesday Challenge 47 - A Card for Mum & Cute Card Thursday Challenge 100 - Metal Mania

Wow! That was a mouthful!

This card was for 3 different challenges, it was fun trying to work them all together!

I started with Sketch #90 from Friday Sketchers, it seemed to be a simple sketch, which I wasn't sure about, however, I think it came together nicely!
I next decided to use the theme from Digital Tuesday Challenge #47 - A Card For Mum (the inside of my card portrays that slightly better).
Finally, Cute Card Thursday's Challenge 100 was easy enough to add by using the big silver brad in the center of the fan fold flower (also found that tutorial on Split Coast Stampers)
So, here's my card....oh, and, the inside says: "For Mother's Day...I got dressed all by myself! and Dad says he's making dinner (what do you want on the pizza?". That pretty much sums up Mother's Day at my house!!

Dare You To Digi - Use Your Punches & Phindy's Place - Blue, Green, and Orange Challenge

Well, I had quite the challenge last night, making a card with blue, green, and orange....for some reason these colors just don't seem to go together for me. I also decided to combine this challenge with Dare You To Digi's Challenge 31 - Use Your Punches!
Anyway, this past weekend, I came across a tutorial for a tri-shutter card on Split Coast Stampers and fell in love with the idea, soooooooooooooo, I decided to try out a tri-shutter blue, green, and orange card with a Phindy Image! Here is what I came up with.....
(front of card when closed)

(opened card from left)
I used an ity-bitty flower punch for the 6 flowers in the corners of the orange panel on the right hand side.

(opened card from right)
I used my Stampin' Up flower punch to make a 3 layered punch on the bottom of the middle panel!

If you would like to join in on the challenge, go to Phindy's Group on Paper Craft Planet (she gives away free images to her members too!)!!

Motivet Week 7 Challenge

I used the free digi from Motivet again this week for their Week 7 Challenge, I really need to get some more of their stamps!

Anyway, this is what I came up with from their Week 7 Sketch...hope you like it!

I'm not really thrilled with how the "MOM" came out in the picture, it is not quite as boldly colored in real life!

I also used this card for Cute Card Thursday Challenge #99 called "In The Name Of Love"!

Motivet Week 6 Challenge
