Another 5 challenges in one card!

Hello again! Here's a third card for the weekend and it hits another 5 challenges! That's a lot of challenges for this weekend!!

Okay, here it goes:

1.) Pile it on! - Eat Your Veggies - this one is pretty obvious!

2.) The Corrosive Challenge - What's Cooking? - again, obvious!

3.) Phindy's Challenge - Use Buttons of Brads - not too tough...

4.) Fussy and Fancy Friday - A Recipe - 3 images, 3 DPs, 3 types of embellishments - okay, this was a bit more difficult, aka, almost drove me nuts! I have it covered though!!!

5.) Sketch Girl - Sketch # 19 - this was easy peasy!

Sooooooo, here's the card.....again, I'm not really very happy with the quality of the picture but I had to scan this one too!

A second card for the weekend and 5 more challenges!

Okay, so I may not have gotten many cards done this weekend but I sure did hit up a lot of challenges....this second card is for 5 different challenges!

1.) Cupcake Craft Challenge - Gray, Black, and one other color (I chose red)

2.) Wild Flower Wednesday - Monochromatic (and Black and White) - this may be a bit of a stretch but this is as monochromatic as I get!

3.) Cute Card Thursday - No Designer Papers - this was actually fun! I made the background a little more interesting with some number and letter stamps!

4.) Paper Cutz - #43 - For a Teacher - I thought this image would a perfect end of the year card for a teacher!

5.) Friday Sketchers - Sketch #104

Four Challenges in One!

Hello! I feel like I haven't made a card in ages.....it's been busy around here but I'm catching up on some challenges this weekend!

For this first card of the weekend, I have four different challenges:

1.) Pollycraft Monday Challenge : Buttons and Butterflies - the butterflies are on the DP, the buttons are great wooden ones that I found at our dollar store, you can color them with almost anything and make them match whatever you are making!

2.) Spoon Full Of Sugar - Celebration - I have decided this should be a birthday card, possibly for my mom as her birthday is coming up next month.

3.) Phindy's Challenge - Brads or Buttons - the buttons served this challenge as well and I just love this Phindy image!

4.) Sketch Saturday - Sketch layout!
I am not overly thrilled with this picture but I had to scan the card in because my camera is mysteriously MIA! UGH!!! I guess this means I have more cleaning to do than I had thought!

One More Masculine Card for Phindy's!

Well I made time to make one last Baby Thank You for Phindy's Challenge this week! I used the same image and the same papers too! Really got my $'s worth out of those few sheets of paper and the digi!

Hope you like it!!!

A Special Card!

Hello, as many of you in the papercrafting community know, there is a special cardmaking event going on. Lisa, who is a DT for many different challenge blogs, has a sister who has terminal lung cancer. She is, obviously, going through a difficult time. Lisa has asked us to send cards to her sister, Jayme, to help brighten her days as much as possible. Of course, these shouldn't be "get well" cards, just "have a happy day" cards. If you would be willing to make a card for Jayme, check out Lisa's Blog!

Lisa, with the help of several stamping companies, is offering a blog candy prize to one of the people who sends Jayme a card. Again, more information is available on Lisa's Blog....

I am mulit-tasking this card to be entered into Tuesday Morning Sketches, a new challenge that I just found out about. The sketch was fun to play with! I had to alter the sketch just slightly because my brads were a little bigger than I thought origionally!

The card also works for this week's CAS-Tastic Challenge - "a touch of green". While the papers are not very "simple", the whole card was pretty simple to make and the green frog seems to work for that "touch of green".

I hope you enjoy my card and I hope you head over to Lisa's blog and send Jayme a card.....we all make them, why not use them for someone who really needs them?

Thank you card #3!

Wow, I really am on a roll tonight! I just finished my 3rd baby thank you!! Hmmm...wonder how many I'll need?

Anyway, I am entering this card into the MelJen's Challenge - Seeing Spots! Hope you like it!!

Another Baby Thank You!

Well, while I was on a roll with the first Baby Thank You Card, I decided to make a second with the same image and the same papers and ribbon too!

This card is for Papertake Weekly (a sketch), Phindy's Challenge (masculine), Digital Tuesday (cute kids).

A head start on baby thank yous!

Phindy's Challenge this week is to make "masculine cards", so I decided to use it to get a jump start on some baby thank you cards! I combine this challenge with Sketch Saturday's Sketch and here's what you get....

Another Christmas Card for a whole bunch of challenges!

I still cannot believe that I am making Christmas Cards in May but with a baby on the way it is probably a REALLY good thing!

This card was made for 5 different challenges (I wouldn't want to make too many Christmas Cards!):

3.) Christmas Card Challenge: Sentiment Only

4.) Corrosive Challenge: Clean and Simple

5.) Pile it on!: Think out of the box! - This card is definately thinking out of the box for me because I often omit a sentiment but I NEVER omit an image! This was tricky for me!!

As my 3 year old would say, "Ta Da, how you think?"

My Cards for the Weekend!

Hello! It's been a crazy weekend at my house so I haven't gotten a chance to sit down much less post the 2 cards that I did sneak in! There are a few different challenges for each card too!

The first card is for:

Cute Card Thursday - Challenge 113 Sketch By Caz

Spoonfull of Sugar - Challenge 104 "Cute and Girly"

The second card is for:
Mo's Digital Card Challenge - Challenge #32 "What's Love Got To Do With It?"
Friday Sketchers' - Sketch #103

Paper Cutz - Challenge #42 - use buttons plus ribbon, lace, or hemp

'Tis the Season! Well, kinda!

Hello - This card is for 4 different challenges:

1.) Phindy's Challenge Blog - Christmas

2.) Digital Tuesday - Use Vellum

3.) ABC Christmas - K = Kisses (all about love) - what can be more loving than a mother and child hugging?

4.) Winter Wonderland - "See Amid The Snow" - I thought the vellum made this one look like they were standing in the snow.

I am showing a few different angles of this card because I didn't think the first picture gave the right effect!

Not a Card!

This week's challenge for Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenges was to make a May Basket. I decided to make mine tulip shaped. I then added the delicate digi butterfly and some rhinestones....I think it came out pretty neat!

Pollycraft Monday's Challenge #44 is Summer Blooms. I figured that since this was a tulip shaped project, it would work quite nicely!

Finally, Papertake Weekly's Challenge this week is "say it with flowers". Again, the tulip shape seemed to fit this quite well!

4 Challenges in One Card!

Merry Christmas Everyone! Oops, wrong season, unless you're over at Phindy's Challenge Blog! The challenge this week (incase you haven't noticed) is Christmas in Spring! This card started out for that challenge then I realized I could fit it into some other challenges as well!

The Corrosive Challenge for this week is to make an easel card. That was easy enough to incorporate!

There is a Christmas Card Challenge which wants you to use a snowman, Phindy has a great snowman image so that worked as well!

Finally, I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers, #102, it was a pretty cool sketch!

Hope you enjoy my card!!

Sketch Saturday, Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge, and Cute Card Thursday

Here is another card, I'm on a roll this week!

This card is for 3 challenges:

3.) Cute Card Thursday Challenge - #112 - Someone Special - This card is a "thinking of you" card for a friend of mine who needs a little pick me up!

Digital Tuesday and 2 Cute Rubber Stamps

2 Cute Rubber Stamps has a challenge this week to use the free digi they are giving away. To top it off, the winner will get a FREE rubber stamp! How can you lose, you get one free digi just for playing! I thought this little hoola hooping hamster was pretty darn cute! I combine him with Digital Tuesday's Challenge for this week - "Make me laugh". The hamster reminded me of my family's competitive (and sometimes odd) behavior. My uncles especially, are always doing some odd trick and challenging everyone else to try it. This is where the sentiment "Bet you can't do this" came from!

So, without any more rambling, here is my card:

Sketch Girl, Papertake Weekly, and Phindy's

A second card in one day....and it's another Christmas Card in May! At this rate I'll be tired of Christmas before August!!

Okay, this card is for Sketch Girl - Sketch #18. It was a little trickier than I had origionally thought, I actually had to do math! The card is also for Papertake Weekly's Challenge - shiny/sparkly & special. This was my first time using my stick on gemstones, I really liked the way they turned out and it was easy to add a little glitter to the snow! Finally, I am submitting this for Phindy's Challenge - Christmas in Spring (the ONLY reason I'm doing a Christmas card right now!!).

Pollycraft Monday and another Phor Phindy's Christmas Challenge!

Hello all! I made this cute little card for The Pollycraft Monday sketch challenge and for Phindy's Christmas Challenge! I cannot believe that I am making Christmas cards in May, but hey, at least I'll be ahead of the game later this year!

Wild Flower Wednesday, Cas-tastic, Friday Sketchers, AND Paper Cutz!

Well, here is my second post of the day!! I was very busy last night but didn't get a chance to post either card I had made......

This card is also for 4 different challenges:

1.) Wild Flower Wednesday - "Clean and Simple Birthday"

2.) CAS - tastic - "Clean and Simple Birthday"

3.) Friday Sketchers - Sketch #101

4.) Paper Cutz - "Children's Birthday"

Digital Tuesday, Papertake Weekly, Phindy's Challenge, AND Pile It On!

Well, this one card is for 4 different challenges!!!

1.) Digital Tuesday - "A Toast To You" - use food or drink on your card.

Pollycraft Monday, Phindy's Challenge, and Sunday Sketch & Stamp

I made this thank you card for three challenges. Pollycraft Monday's Challenge was "Here Comes The Sun", I thought this was the perfect summery image for the challenge! Phindy's Challenge is "April Showers Bring May Flowers" so the flowers in the image, the flowery papers and the flower embellishment (made by a friend of mine) fit that perfectly! Finally, the sketch is from Sunday Sketch and Stamp...I really had fun using it!!

I hope you enjoy my card!

MelJen Designs and Pile It On!

I won this adorable little fishy from MelJen's Challenge last week!!!! WOOHOO!!! So, I decided to use it this week for MelJen's Challenge to make a shaped card! Pile It On!'s challenge this week is to use "boyish colors". I decided that blue, orange, and green are pretty boyish so that seemed to fit together nicely.

I didn't put a sentiment on this one because I thought it could be used as a just because, a get well, a birthday, well, anything! So, I left my options open on that one!!!

Here's my card:

Sketch Girl, Phindy's Challenge, and Spoon Full Of Sugar

Hello! I have another card using Phindy's "Beary Beautiful" image! So, this card qualifies for Phindy's Challenge #3 - use your favorite Phindy image!! I used the sketch from Sketch Girl (you had a choice of 2 sketches this week). Spoon Full Of Sugar's Challenge for this week is called "Furry Friends" so this adorable bear works just perfectly! Hope you like this one:

Another card and 4 challenges

Wow! Each time I use this image, I like it more!!! Phindy's Challenge blog has their 3rd challenge up and it is to use your favorite image. Mine of course is whatever one I got most recently so, that is what I used! This is my second entry for this challenge (you can enter up to 5 times).

I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday - Sketch #101. This was a fun sketch to work with and I just love the way that the papers worked out with the sketch!

A Spoon Full of Sugar's Challenge this week is for something 3D on the card. I used Pop-Dots to make my sentiment 3D!

Finally, The Corrosive Challenge this week was to make a Birthday Card. This was quite simple to do!

So, without further ado....here is my card:

3 Challenges In One!

Hello Everyone!

Well, despite the heat and mugginess here this weekend, I managed to get one card finished!

This card is for Friday Sketcher's Challenge #100, Phindy's Challenge #3 - Your Favorite Phindy Image, and Cupcake Craft's Challenge #88 - Don't Be Square!

Hope you like it!!!
